Intro to Weight Training
Just starting to exercise? We now have a class that will take you through the process, provide you with support in a group atmosphere, learn about how to start exercising and reaching goals, and start to form your own training routine. You will be with a personal trainer, and will go over how to use all the machines correctly, and learn all about the body, and how to exercise properly and safely.
Boot Camp
Calling all adults who are ready to work hard and see results fast! Our Boot Camp class is led by a certified personal trainer who will run participants through drills ranging from sprints to weights to stretching. If you need a fast-paced, high-energy, team environment in order to stay motivated, this may just be the perfect class for you!
Weight Training Prep
This class is designed for 13-14 year olds who would like to learn to properly train and use the weight equipment here at the Kroc Center. Take this class and learn all about weight training, technique, lifts and so much more. At the end of the class, participants will take a written and a skills-test to earn a certification card that will enable them to workout in the center.
Too Timid to Tri? Tri-Prep
Triathlon Preparation: Come join use as we swim, bike, run and get ready for our October 23rd Triathlon! Get a leg up on the competition with this triathlon preparation group that will prepare you to compete in three different events in the course of a single day. The last week of 3T Prep will culminate in single-event time trials for a little friendly group competition. Swim, bike, and run your way through the rest! We will be doing workouts for each event for all levels, beginners and experienced athletes!
2nd Annual Indoor Triathlon
Want to hone your multi-event skills indoors before you head outside? You will swim in the competition pool, bike on the spin studio’s bikes, and run on the treadmills. Need some coaching before the big day? Sign up for our triathlon prep class, starting in August.
